Home Made Almond Butter

I actually can't justify calling this a recipe, because there is only one ingredient (I guess two if you want to add a pinch of sea salt). This home made almond butter is so perfect, creamy, delicious and all you need are almonds.

Put 2-3 cups of raw almonds in your food processor. Turn it on for about 10 -15 minutes. You will need to watch it, because in the beginning, as the almonds are breaking apart, it will get stuck on the sides, so you'll need to stop it and push it down. A

After a while, it will get chunky, like a rough dough, and then a few minutes later gets super creamy and awesome.

This is the almond butter resulting from 2 cups of almonds, so if you use a lot of almond butter, you can use 3-3.5 cups of almonds.

There are many amazing things about this almond butter - how easy it is, how healthy it is, doing stuff from scratch makes you feel awesome (or at least I think it does!). The most amazing thing, is slicing up an apple and using it to clean the bowl once you have put the majority of almond butter in the jar.

Who doesn't love to lick the bowl?
