The Government is a Mess, but Washington is Perfect.

Sometimes I need a little extra inspiration on Monday mornings. Especially this one, where there's some work drama. So I'm going to channel Kerry Washington today, because she's my modern day Mary Poppins (practically perfect in every way).

I've always been a fan of Kerry, but as Olivia Pope on Scandal she's become my total favorite. Oliva always (well almost always) got her ish together and she's not afraid of anything. Off screen, everyone says Kerry is a total doll and brings sunshine and joy to work every day. Again I say, practically perfect.

So today, when I'm feeling a little less-than (less than perfect, less than happy, less than a few other adjectives), I'm going to try to be a little Kerry Washington-esque. Be a little more happy, a little more sunny, a little more of a gladiator. I mean really, who wouldn't want to be this fabulous.
